Best Dog Movies Of All Time

It's always tough to pick a good movie to watch , because there are so many genres available. In this post we are going to discus  about some great movies featuring dogs. We all love our dogs don't we? wouldn't it be great to have all the best dog movies of all time at one place. Movies featuring dogs from 1990s,2000s, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. 

We have seen a lot of great Dog movies over the years and it is very difficult to sum up all of it an one post, so i will be showing some great dog movies in this post. lets start.



1. HACHIKO

HACHIKO a dog's tale A Dog's Tale is a 2009 British-American drama film. Based on the true story of a faithful Akita Inu, the titular Hachikō, it is directed by Lasse Hallström, is written by Stephen P. Lindsey and Kaneto Shindo, and stars Richard Gere, Joan Allen and Sarah Roemer.   A college professor's bond with the abandoned dog he takes into his home provides a phenomenal cinematic show that will stay in your minds for years. 

Well what would i be able to state. I'm a guy and i dont cry watching movies ,however I gotta say this one got me. before the finish of the film I was in tears.


2. KINGSMAN : SECRET SERVICE

When a special British spy service recruits the streetwise Eggsy, an atypical choice for the typically upper class institution, he’s anxious to prove himself. Part of their training involves choosing a puppy and caring for it, teaching it, and more. “Where you go, the dog goes.”

If you're willing to let your critical mind lapse into quasi-vegetation, Kingsman is entertaining in the most ridiculous, rainbow-hued, ultra violent kind of way. 

3. MAX

most obvious choice for our list, this heartrending story begins with the relationship of the titular Belgian Malinois with his Marine handler as they work in Afghanistan. When Kyle is killed in action, Max bonds with Kyle’s younger brother Justin. Not only does the relationship help them process the loss of brother and friend, the circumstances behind Kyle’s death come to light and they must unravel a complicated and dangerous truth.



4.  IRON WILL

This film from 1994 is stuffed for you to show you the best of relationship between man and dog. The story takes after a man who enters a canine sled race with expectations of sparing his family's homestead. Solidifying temperatures, physical weariness and different hardships test the self control of both the young fellow and his group of pooches, drove by Gus - an excellent Siberian Husky with one blue and one green eye. Iron Will demonstrates the genuine inward quality the two men and mutts have as the group battles to win their race from Winnipeg to St. Paul.


5. HOMEWARD BOUND

It features three pets who are left behind while their family goes on vacation. Thinking they've been abandoned, the pets set out on an incredible journey to be reunited with their family.
 Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey" is a movie frankly designed for kids, and yet it has a certain craftsmanship and an undeniable charm, and if you find yourself watching it with a child you may end up liking it almost as much.
The 1993 remake of “Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey” was based on a true story of the survival and determination of two dogs and a cat to find their way home through 250 miles of the Canadian wilderness.


6. MY DOG SKIP

The cast of this movie from 2000 is incredible - Diane Lane, Kevin Bacon and Frankie Muniz.  My Dog Skip is a 2000 family drama film, directed by Jay Russell and starring Frankie Muniz, Diane Lane, Luke Wilson, and Kevin Bacon with narration by Harry Connick Jr. Based on the autobiographical novel of the same name, the film stars Muniz as 9-year-old Willie Morris as he is given a Jack Russell Terrier. My Dog Skip is a good, old-fashioned boy-and-his-dog movie that is lyrical and very touching, with many important issues for family discussion.


7. TURNER AND HOOCH

In 1989, Turner & Hooch became one of our all time favorite pair of cop partners. The story of neat freak (Tom Hanks) and his partner Hooch, who may have a bit of a drooling problem will make you laugh and warm your heart. It's definitely one of our all-time favorite dog movies! Turner & Hooch is a 1989 Metrocolor American detective comedy film starring Tom Hanks and Beasley the Dog as the eponymous characters, Turner and Hooch respectively. The film also co-stars Mare Winningham, Craig T. Nelson and Reginald VelJohnson. It was directed by Roger Spottiswoode.



8. LASSIE

A family in financial crisis is forced to sell Lassie, their beloved dog. Hundreds of miles away from her true family, Lassie escapes and sets out on a journey home. Life is hard for Yorkshire miner's son Joe Carraclough, who is beaten at school by a his teacher, his only consolation is his collie Lassie. It gets worse: when the mine is decommissioned, his father, Sam, is forced to sell the dog to the duke, who owns the local estate.
